Couples portrait at Shorncliffe Beach
It was a truly stunning morning down at Shorncliffe Pier for Elisa and Michael’s portrait session. The sun was shining, although it was a little fresh for the 8am start. We walked all over the park. Starting at the jetty, then the trees, on the grass and then out onto the beach to finish. Having had their last photo shoot done in New York, the look and feel this time was totally different (which is of course what they were aiming for). It was super lovely to meet this couple and update their portrait collection. Couples favourite photo: on the jetty BAC Favourite photo: back to me looking at…

Fun family portrait Shorncliffe Beach
We booked Frances and her family in for a portrait down at Shorncliffe by the beach and the weather that day did not disappoint! We had lots of fun the with kids, running and jumping around. We started up on the grass, then headed onto the beach as the sun slowly went down in the afternoon. This session was special to me too! It was the first one we did a vlog for. What’s a vlog you ask? It’s a behind the scene video captured during the session of the family having their portraits. I had my 2 videographers (my two boys) who came along and captured the footage for…

Couples maternity portrait – Shorncliffe
It was a beautiful afternoon down at Shorncliffe for Alana and Luke’s maternity portrait. I brought some dresses with me but thought Alana looked stunning in the navy blue top she wore to the session, so we started off the session with that. Then when we moved round the the park, we changed her into one of our Olivia dresses in light blue. Then it was down onto the beach for the rest of the session for some couples portraits and some of this glowing mum to be on her own. Couples favourite image: Couples close up in the navy blue top BAC Favourite: Front on close up of Alana…

Three sisters at Shorncliffe Beach
Roy got in touch to have this three beautiful daughters photographed. The school holidays were the easiest time with school and weekend activities making other times difficult. We opted for a morning session at Shorncliffe which I love. It is always fresh beautiful down there and the weather didn’t disappoint with a stunning Queensland winters day! We got some beautiful photos of the three girls together and then some fun individual ones too. BAC Favourite Image: The jumping photo of course! The girls had great fun at the session and the jumping photos was the families favourite photo too.

Meet the Mitchells – Shorncliffe Family Photographer
It was a beautiful morning down at Shorncliffe (most of them are) when I had the pleasure of photographing this local family. Years before they had done studio photos, but wanted something different this time, so outdoors by the beach it was. The boys were so cute together. Connor was such a doting big brother, it was really lovely to see and we made the decision to keep his glasses on too… he wears them all the time and they are who he is, so we felt it was important. The last photo of the day was a rudey nudey shoot of little Harrison! They had done the same pose…

Sweeney Family Lovin’ – Shorncliffe Family Photographer
We are all different and this could not be more true for twins, Michael and Genevieve! The first time we met, they were newborn bubs, curled up, sleeping with only a hint of their personalities. Now at nearly 20 months old they are chalk and cheese (which I think is perfect, as someone who also has fraternal twins). Genevieve is on the move and cannot wait to explore everywhere she goes while Michael is still surfing the furniture and prefers to stay close to mum and dad… for now. I have no doubt that he’ll be off and sooner than we know! There is no greater compliment for me when…
