Couples maternity portrait – Shorncliffe
It was a beautiful afternoon down at Shorncliffe for Alana and Luke’s maternity portrait. I brought some dresses with me but thought Alana looked stunning in the navy blue top she wore to the session, so we started off the session with that. Then when we moved round the the park, we changed her into one of our Olivia dresses in light blue. Then it was down onto the beach for the rest of the session for some couples portraits and some of this glowing mum to be on her own. Couples favourite image: Couples close up in the navy blue top BAC Favourite: Front on close up of Alana…

Growing Family Maternity Portrait Brisbane
We had a great time in the studio with Rebecca and her little family… soon to be expanded family! Elijah was super cute although sometimes more interested in his toys than Mum’s tummy and his new, soon to be sibling. I was so happy to use the new blue maternity gown. I have this same dress in champagne and pink but this was the first time to be using the blue and it went great with the boys in their jeans and white tops. We also used the stunning black lace gown which always looks stunning on the grey backdrop.

Beautiful Eleanor – maternity portrait North Lakes
Eleanor left the family at home and just had a ‘ME’ day in the studio while we captured her stunning maternity portraits. As she had a little bit of a drive to get here, we did same day ordering for her and once the photos were taken, she headed down to the lake for a coffee while I prepared her images for viewing and popped back to the studio an hour later. I love the images in the pink olivia dress, this was our first time using it. The relaxing time we had in the studio has now long gone with the arrival of bub but we wouldn’t have it…

Thalia and Brad – Maternity and Newborn Portrait
Bribie Island Maternity Portrait and combined Newborn Portrait in our North Lakes Studio Thalia and Brad booked in a Maternity Portrait and when they did, I suggested that not only could we capture their excitement of the new baby but we could create a film! You know how much I love making my family films. We had chosen Bribie Island for our Maternity Portrait and on the day, the rain kept coming through in squalls and we spoke several times on the phone trying to decide if we could still go ahead. Obviously not having time on our side with the little one due soon, we decided to go for…

Little Lachlan – North Lakes Newborn Portrait Photographer
15 Days New – Baby Lachlan A Happy New Year for this family with the arrival of this little man only a 9 days into the year! Mum and Dad were a proud as can be and he was a delight for me too! We did both photos and video for this session and I just love the movie we made too. His eyes were wide at the start of the session, looking straight into the camera, just melts your heart and just wen I didn’t think he was going to sleep for me, despite being only 15 days old, he did doz off for us. As cute as he…

Amaiah-Kay – North Lakes Newborn Portrait
North Lakes Newborn Family Portrait Nicole thought she had missed the boat for newborn portraits. One minute she was pregnant, then little Amaiah arrived, then Christmas came straight after and before you know it she’s growing. Then she saw our ad on facebook! We got them booked in as soon as possible and were able to capture this gorgeous little girl at 5 1/2 weeks old! You can see she is almost out of the really new-newborn stage (but not quite) and is already starting with little facial expressions and the hint of a smile… for Dad of course. I am so happy were were able to make these beautiful…

Newborn Twins with their big brother – North Lakes Newborn Studio
Twins in the Studio Big Brother Jameson could not be more proud of his new little brother and sister, despite the fact that I am sure they are occupying a lot of Mum’s time these days. Once we had some family photos and photos of our proud big brother, Dad took him to the park, while Mum and I focused on just some photos and video of the twins, Jordan and Jillian. I commented on how many names in their house that started with the letter J and how much fun that would be in the future with mail etc… mind you, I am not sure how much more mail…
