Maternity and Newborn Session

Dana found us on Facebook a few years ago and came in for a newborn session with hubby Chris and their first daughter Kaylee. Fast forward 18 months and they were back in touch again pregnant with daughter number 2.

This time we did an outdoor maternity session down at the amazing Lake Samsonvale right at sunset.

Being a toddler Kaylee did not want to sit still and was busy running around, so lots of walking swinging and running photos were in order. We did manage to get a few with mum and tummy.  Kaylee was old enough to know things were changing but not quite old enough to fully understand that a new sister was coming her way.

At the newborn session Kaylee wasn’t a big fan of her new sister Sawyer. We managed to get a few fleeting photos of the 2 girls together and then some lovely newborn portraits of Sawyer on the sunflower rug that Dad has bought… I loved it and she looked so sweet on it.

We ordered a fantastic panoramic framed print storyboard combining photos from both the newborn session in the studio and the outdoor portrait we did for the pregnancy photos.

BAC’s favourite newborn photo is of a beautiful baby girl on the sunflower rug that dad brought.

It was so great to see this family again and I hope to keep updating their family story as the girls grow.
