Simpson Generations Portraits

I met Janine a few years back now when a good friend of mine asked me to do her daughters graduation photos. I was doing my friends daughters graduation portraits and her handsome date, and good friend was Jack, Janines son.

It was amazing, years later, to hear from Janine to do her own family portrait session and great to catch up with her family and see her and Jack again.

It is really special to me when I am able to meet the different generations of a family. To me, it’s almost like mapping the love of each generation with a series of images that really capture the love from one generation to the next.

We had so much fun on the day! The piggie back shots were a hit, all the younger generations jumping on the band wagon to get some great shots that just exude joy and happiness. We went a little piggie back crazy. So much fun! Suffice to say we laughed A LOT that day!

We took so many great images on the day that it was really difficult to pick a few of them for this blog and I’m sure Janine had the same issue picking the beautiful images for her framed portraits, but we got there and ordered some timeless images to be framed by our local framer, Picture Framing on Discovery.

We added that extra special personal touch with some custom frames, that matched other frames she already had at home. All in all, they really framed the images to perfection!

My favourite images would have to be of Jack piggie backing both girls (so much fun) and the image of Janine with her mum which just highlights how special a mother’s love is!
