Sutton Family Portrait

Stevie contacted us to book a family portrait session for herself, her mum, Natalie, her sister’s Mikeely and Maddy and her nephew Pheonix. I was really looking forward to meeting them all.

Stevie had seen others getting portraits done at the beautiful Plantation Road at Dakabin, which happened to be really close to where she lived. We decided that would make a great setting for her family portraits.

The weather on the day turned out to be really overcast and quite stormy but that didn’t stop us from getting some really amazing shots in the long grass.

We had a really great session, and it was honestly a pleasure to meet these awesome ladies and charming little Phoenix who was a natural in front of the camera.

Black and white photos hold a special place in Stevie’s heart, the classic and timeless portraits of this blog are all black and white in dedication to this lovely lady and her beautiful family.

So hard to pick a favourite out of all of the amazing images that came from this session, but I really loved the shot with Pheonix in the forefront and the ladies standing behind. It screams of a new generation being protected by some awesome powerful women!
