Ritchie Family Portrait

We spoke to Cael, back in June 2022, after he received a Gift Certificate for our services from North Lakes Hyundai. The family had planned an overseas trip, so we were looking forward to meeting them for their portrait session after they got back from their holiday.

We sent our handy location guide along with easy-to-follow steps to follow to Cael, and it was decided that a late afternoon session at Plantation road, Dakabin, would be perfect for their session.  From experience we knew that the late afternoon was the perfect time, with the perfect lighting for this family’s shoot.

Cael, Kelly-Anne and handsome little Arlo came along to their session in really beautiful neutral toned outfits that fit in perfectly with the long grass and rustic feel of their surroundings. Arlo’s little gingham overalls and little brown sandals were just adorable!

The grassy knoll and setting sun really of the scene, gave the images a really peaceful and relaxed feel and the family really shined in this setting.

As the sun kept setting, we moved over to the dirt road and had lots of fun capturing some great images of the family, hand in hand with the shining sun in the background. We finished the session with a classic shadowed sunset shot.

My favourite shot of the day would have to be of Mum and Dad holding little Arlo’s hand on the dirt path.
