Maternity and Newborn Session

Perfect Maternity and Newborn Session after the Pregnancy Baby Children’s Expo 2021

We met Sarah at the Pregnancy, Baby, Children’s Expo in Feb 2021.  This was our first expo, and it was an awesome event.  It was amazing talking to so many different people.

Sarah was one of those people we chatted to at the expo, she was 38 weeks pregnant at the time (or close to that) and had decided she wanted to get maternity photos, as well as newborn portraits.  I said “OK, well we better get you booked in as soon as possible!”  We saw Sarah at the expo on the Sunday and as of Tuesday afternoon we had her scheduled in.

Sadly, the rain spoilt our booking, so we rescheduled the session and booked her in for a few days later.

We had a beautiful session down at Nudgee Wetland Reserve which is a super spot and one of our favourites!  It was a beautiful afternoon; the sun was shining, and Sarah looked amazing in the afternoon sun.

I didn’t tell her when we got down to the session that there was a giant python sitting in the tree that someone else had pointed out to me.  I was happy by the time we finished the session that the snake was still in the tree and hadn’t moved off anywhere, which was my biggest fear.  I didn’t tell Sarah until the end of the session because I didn’t want to scare her off if she did have a fear of snakes but thankfully, he was no bother at all.

A couple of weeks later Sarah got in touch when her beautiful son Logan was born.  We not only had Sarah and Logan in the studio, but her parents as well.  They were down visiting their new grandson and were super excited with the new generation in the family.

It was a beautiful session and Logan was a super star!  I look forward to seeing them again in the future.
