Generations Family Portrait at Shorncliffe

John and Bronwyn I know personally because they are my framers.  They are the wonderful team behind Picture Framing on Discovery and I have been so grateful that they moved here to North Lakes where I found them, and we can support each other’s businesses.

They wanted to organise a family portrait here in North Brisbane with their two daughters Amie and Aleisha, their partners and John’s mum Grace and their very first grandchild.

We organised the session down at Sandgate, as this is a favourite spot with Grace living nearby.  Although it was a bit windy when we got down there, we tucked around the corner to get out of the wind to do the session just down the side facing Sandgate.

For the session, it was obviously great to get a nice big family shot with everyone together, but I especially love the photos of Grace with her great grandchild and the fun photos we got of Amelia.  Bronwyn put all of those photos into a large wall piece which we call the wall of Amelia.  It shows all of her expressions, and it was great fun to make.

We also got a girl’s photo showing all the generations, along with some fun photos with the boys as well and couple’s portraits of everyone too.  It was a great session, and we finished up on the beach with the jetty in the background to finish the afternoon off.
