Meet the Mitchells – Shorncliffe Family Photographer
It was a beautiful morning down at Shorncliffe (most of them are) when I had the pleasure of photographing this local family. Years before they had done studio photos, but wanted something different this time, so outdoors by the beach it was. The boys were so cute together. Connor was such a doting big brother, it was really lovely to see and we made the decision to keep his glasses on too… he wears them all the time and they are who he is, so we felt it was important. The last photo of the day was a rudey nudey shoot of little Harrison! They had done the same pose…

Little Jackson – North Lakes Newborn Photographer
This is sweet little Jackson. I was so pleased to get some beautiful shot of him awake and then some sleeping. Mum and Dad didn’t want to be in these photos. They wanted this to be all about him, but I made Mum promise, next time we would get them all together! They are currently have a new house built and ordered up an beautiful Acrylic Wall Collage to put in their new home! I hope they don’t have to wait long to move in and hang this piece of art up on the walls of their beautiful boy Jackson.

Awesome Baby Amity – North Lakes Newborn Photographer
First bub in the new North Lakes Studio Amity – Newborn Sweetheart Yes, Amity and her little family was the first newborn I had here in the new studio! I was like a kid in a candy shop enjoying all the space I now had (compared to my small little front room). Dad tested out the new couch for me too… so tired that while we were photographing all the sleepy newborn photos of Amity, he as also fast asleep on the new couch! Mum (Stevie) and I had a giggle, but I figured he must have been relaxed and comfortable in the new studio to doze off like that… a…

Abigail Ballerina – North Lakes Studio Portrait
Abigail our little ballerina Bubbles and Confetti Abigail was a soft and gentile soul. She didn’t want to smile for the camera at first, so mum and I had to bribe her first with bubbles and then with the winning ticket CONFETTI! She did look very cute in the little ballerina tutu and I just loved they way she played with the confetti.

Elianna Ballerina – North Lakes Childrens Photographer
Elianna the Ballerina We had such a great response to our ‘Little Ballerina’ Project with such beautiful names, like Elianna! I photographed Elianna’s brother when he was a baby, many moons ago and it was lovely to see this family again and meet Elianna. I commented to mum too how beautiful the name was and how we had had such a collection, Amelia, Ariana and Elianna all within days of each other. She had a great time dancing around the studio and the phrase, ‘Dance like no one’s watching’ came to mind when going through her photos after the session. Such carefree beauty and grace… Elianna.

Little Ballerina Amelie – North Lakes Childrens Photographer
Meet Amelie – Little Ballerina – Sister, Daughter, Superstar! Super sweet little one has fun in the studio I meet Amelie before her session. Mum came in for a pre-consultation and tried on the Tutu to make sure that it would fit…. which it did… just! I knew straight away she was not going to be shy in front of the camera and she was not. We had such a fun session. Dancing, laughing and throwing confetti. The music was on and we were having a blast. I sure hope we meet again, perhaps the rest of the family next time…?

Ariana Ballerina – North Lakes Childrens Studio Photographer
Ariana – Little Ballerina North Lakes Children’s Studio Portrait Photographer Little Ariana made me work hard this day! She was super sweet and super cute, but this was a growing girl who was hungry! She grazed her way through the shoot, mildly distracted by the bubbles and confetti that we literally throwing at her. Modelling is hard work and she was rewarded for her efforts with more food. Kind of reminded me of one of my boys who was also a constant grazer! For him life revolved around food. Had a blast with this little superstar anyway and hope that we will see her (and Mum) again.

Baby Amelia – North Lakes Newborn Portrait
It doesn’t seem that long ago that Isabelle was having her newborn photos and now here with are with her baby sister Amelia! It was just a delight to photograph these two beautiful girls here in our new North Lakes Studio and use some new props too to help mum be able to tell the difference between these 2 girls… they look exactly the same! So Isabelle had a headband in her newborn photos a 2 years ago, this time we stuck with the crown for Amelia. Isabelle was very patient and gentile with her new sister and I am sure can’t wait for her to grow a little so…

Newborn Twins – North Lakes Newborn Studio Photographer
More Twins! Yes, you all know how much I love twins, having twins myself… but these 2 girls are adorable. I am a little behind with my blogging, as it was a few months ago that we did their photos, but better late than never and I just had to share these. Ahria and Ailah (I just love those names!) were pretty cheeky and past the classic newborn stage and onto the, ‘we are starting to smile stage’. And they just couldn’t help but smile… and neither could I. Mum and Dad are super proud and happy and I hope that I get the opportunity to photograph these two beautiful…

Glaspy Family – North Lakes Family Portrait Photographer
It doesn’t seem that long ago that I was doing a newborn portrait for this lovely family… but it was 3 years ago! It was so great to catch up with them again and see them all growing and changing. Sheryl brought the little bike down for the shoot and I just loved it! Such a great prop for a park session and a beautiful morning for their photos down at Lake Eden, North Lakes. I am so lucky to have such a great spot, right on my doorstep. Hope to catch up with the family again in the future as they grow some more!
