Daniels Family Session

Daniels Family Session

North Lakes Studio

When Melanie first got in touch with me about booking her session, we realised that we already knew each other. Mel is a nurse and had worked at one of the health centres I used to go to. It was lovely to have that connection.

Mel decided to have her session at our North Lakes studio. Our studio is fully equipped with several different backgrounds, props, and lots of space.

Mel wanted to have a portrait session with all her Granddaughters. Three of the girls were from one family and one from another family so we planned to make sure that we took a selection of images with them all together as well as separate for each family shot.

Avah was 9, Charlize was 6 and baby Emilie 6 months, all sisters. And little Hazel almost 3 was in an adorable matching outfit with baby Emilie.

We began the session on the grey background and got a mixture of shots of all the girls with Grandma then one of the sisters all together with Grandma and Hazel with Grandma also and then of the girls all by themselves.

All the girls were so cute and were really well behaved. Baby Emilie was not very smiley in the group shots, she was content to just observe everything around and take everything in.

We moved on to the white background and got more shots of all the combinations. I loved the shots of the girls on their tummies.

The shot of all the girls on their tummy would have to be my favourite in this session. The colour pallet of their dresses was dynamic on the white background and each of the girls looked just adorable.
