Hill Newborn Session

Courtney contacted us back in January to register after receiving one of our Gift vouches from North Lakes Hyundai. At the time she was expecting baby number two in April so we agreed to touched base again once the little one was born so she could use her voucher for a Newborn session.

We were so excited to hear that little Elijah arrived on easter weekend, so we booked in the session at our North Lakes studio.

On the day of the session Courtney, her partner Damien, their daughter Anniliese who was 2 years and precious baby Elijah just 2 weeks old, all came along to the studio for their session in classic white outfits that really work well on the darker backgrounds.

Miss Anniliese was full of beans as most kids are at the age of two. It took a little coaxing and convincing, but we got some great images of the whole family on the dark grey background. We put bub in a matching dark grey wrap which really popped against the white outfits of the rest of the family.

We got bub comfortable on our plush grey rug with a white wrap for contrast and got some great upshots of the kids together.

The great thing about having a Newborn session in our studio is we can use several colour schemes, backgrounds and props that we wouldn’t be able to use elsewhere. We spent the rest of the session changing up a few different colour combinations.

The series of images of baby Elijah with the classic baby blue background and wrap are some of my favourite Newborn shots.

Overall it was an amazing session and I enjoyed meeting the family and capturing their love in images that will last a lifetime.
