Mackay Family back with Baby no three
Kylie first contacted me in 2015 to photograph their first baby, Isabelle at their family home and business. Then in 2017, Little Amelia came along and we photographed the two girls together… I was then over the moon when she called yet again to photograph the family again with their newest member, Harrison! The girls were really just so sweet with him and I know he is going to be well looked after at home with big sister Amelia and Isabelle there to play with and to look out for him. It has been so wonderful to watch this family grow over the years and I hope that we can…

Fun generation studio portrait
Corey called me to organise a portrait for his mum’s birthday, not for the whole family but for her and his daughter. It was such a great idea and to get in the festive spirit I sources some balloons to create some fun for these two girls during the session. You can see how much fun little Kovah had with the balloons (who doesn’t love balloons!) BAC Favourite photo: Classic portrait of the two girls together with Kovah holding a red rose. BAC Funny Photo: Kovah screaming with delight, playing with the balloons

Generations Portrait Lake Samsonvale
It was a cool afternoon out by Lake Samsonvale but a spectacular sunset for our generation family portrait with Grandma, her son and daughter in law and of course the grand-kids… two energetic boys! The two boys were full of energy and we spent the afternoon running around after them… nothing I’m not used to doing however for other clients and when my own two boys were the same age. We did manage to get the two boys to sit together for just a brief minute and got this lovely moment when big brother gave out a little hug. BAC Favourite image: I actually have 2 favourite images… the family…

Family of Three Fun North Lakes Portrait
Happy Anniversary! When Micheal phoned me he wanted to organise a family portrait for his family (wife and 3 year old daughter) for their upcoming 10th wedding anniversary. How perfect! As they are a local family too, we chose a great spot down at Lake Eden that is perfect for morning session and headed down for some fun. Young Everly was a delight and we had lots of fun, spinning, throwing, swooshing and kissing throughout the session… all those things you need to do to keep a 3 year old engaged and smiling! We started the session down on the little wooden bridge and then head up to a…

Family of 3 in the studio – The Fisher’s
This beautiful family came in to get some beautiful photos all together with little Evelyn. Growing up so quickly it was great to get not only family portraits but also individual images with Mum and Dad. Of course you need to capture that cheeky grin she has.. her whole face lights up when she smiles… no that I need to tell Mum and Dad that, they already know! She looked super cute in her ‘little sailor’ style dress and to quote from ‘Annie’ – You’re never full dressed without a smile 🙂

Jepson Family of 4 Newborn Portrait
Fun Newborn Portrait in Studio with Newborn baby and Toddler Toddlers make life fun… busy but fun and you maybe have to be a little more patient with them to ensure you get.. ‘the shot’ We managed to get some great photos of the family all together and some of the two siblings, Harry with his sleeping baby sister but on his own he was a little distracted, so we persisted with a range of other images for the family and then right at the end as we were finishing up, Harry lay down on the beanbag, a few tickles on the tummy and we finally got the elusive star…

Newborn baby boy portrait with his two siblings
Baby Wyatt with his big brother and sister What an adorable bunch these guys were! I always say that 2nd, 3rd and further consequent children are so much more robust and adaptable, they are used to being handled more and also the noise that goes with, in this case, two older siblings. But young baby Wyatt was a superstar. He gave us some beautiful images with those big wide eyes of his and also we had him curled up and sleeping.. Ok so maybe we send the older 2 kids to the park with Dad but only because they were getting a bit restless and of course, it gets pretty…

Newell Family Portrait on their Macadamia Farm
In home portrait, or on the land… so to speak I was really excited when I organised this family portrait with the Newell’s. It was to be on their property up a Beerwah, which just happens to be the family business too… a Macadamia Farm. What a beautiful setting it was too. With the best time of day for outdoor portraits being the last 1-2 hours before sunset, that’s of course when we organised it. The first date was rained off with a big storm (thank you Queensland weather), so we re-scheduled it in and hooray, the weather was kind. We had worried that the sun might not even come…

A family of three in the North Lakes Studio
Family Portrait for 14 Month Old William and his parents With William growing so fast, Alana booked in for a family session to capture this cute little monkey before he got any bigger! He was such a little sweetie and like most boys this age, he is on the move, so keeping him still long enough to get some great photos is always a challenge… but having had twin boys myself, I was up for it. Mum and Dad came prepared with books, a little bike, toys etc.. plus I always have my ‘go to’ – Building blocks. This ensures that they sit for a while and play. They build…

Mum’s Photoshoot With Her Boys
Mum with her two boys in the park at Lake Eden It was a little while ago now that I did these photos but we had so much fun taking them, I really had to share. I also put together a little film of this little family too… something for them to watch as they grow, maybe play at a birthday party or two as they get older! These two boys were not short on energy and I spend the session running around the park after them and when I wasn’t chasing them, Mum and I sat back a laughed as they played/play-fought together. My favourite bit was when they…
