Fun generation studio portrait
Corey called me to organise a portrait for his mum’s birthday, not for the whole family but for her and his daughter. It was such a great idea and to get in the festive spirit I sources some balloons to create some fun for these two girls during the session. You can see how much fun little Kovah had with the balloons (who doesn’t love balloons!) BAC Favourite photo: Classic portrait of the two girls together with Kovah holding a red rose. BAC Funny Photo: Kovah screaming with delight, playing with the balloons

Candid-Fun-Natural-Relaxed-Family Portrait
It was a fresh morning down at Mungarra Reserve for this generations outdoor family portrait with three generations. With the girls all grown up it had been a while since the Woolston family had their family portrait and with Grandma there from the older generation it was a lovely time to photograph them. These beautiful girls were all smiled during the session and made my job easy. I just loved their portraits together and with mum. I just loved to get the three generations with all the girls, especially now that they are all grown up. Once we had done the generations portraits we then focused on the photos for…

Fun and love in North Lakes – Outdoor Portrait Photographer
North Lakes Portrait in the Afternoon Sun This fun loving couple had not long arrived in Australia when they booked in for their session and perfect timing too, Beatrice’s Mum had just arrived to visit them in their new homeland. We discussed a few different places for the session, by the beach, Redcliffe etc, but decided that as they have settled here in North Lakes, this would be the best place for some fantastic memories, right here by Lake Eden. Somewhere they can walk or drive past everyday. It is a pretty awesome spot too, especially in the glowing afternoon sun! I hope you guys settle into Australian life and…

Three Generations – North Lakes Studio Photographer
Three Generations of Ladies National Family Portrait Month These lovely ladies were a delight to photograph and so special having 3 generations. Mum Tayne (in the middle) registered for National Family Portrait Month and wanted to bring along her beautiful daughters Jasmine and Chelsea but also asked if her Mum Eleanor and her Mother in Law Jan could also come too. The more the merrier I said and here they are! Having registered for National Family Portrait Month, one of their images will go through for the book, ‘Mother’s and their Children, an unbreakable bond’. My favourite for this is the last image in this blog, on the couch. Thank…

New Farm Park – Extended Family Portrait
I did this session a little while back, but thought it was about time I put it on the blog. We organised this extended family portrait session at New Farm Park for the morning and although it is a lovely place, you do have to be careful to avoid both the sun in the morning and of course the hundreds of people who flock to this park every weekend! So we nestled in under this big old beautiful tree. Now in hindsight, we didn’t really plan this shoot well, as it was the day after Halloween and so the kids had all been up late trick-o-treating and were full of…

Extended Family Portrait – Petrie Family Photographer
It was a beautiful sunny afternoon for this extended family portrait in Petrie and although I had already done two weddings this weekend, when a regular client of mine asked if I could do the shoot, of course I said yes! As this was the only weekend all the family was together, this was literally the only day we could all do! Given the age and number of kids, they were all fantastic all though I think all parents were worn out by the end of the session (and me too) chasing them all around the reserve at Petrie… my new favourite spot! There is nothing I love more than…

Extended Family Portrait – Deception Bay Photographer
I love doing extended family portraits and sharing in the relationships between all the family, from the grandparents to the grandkids and the aunts and uncles. Danielle and the family in the country but booked me in while they were here on holidays with her parents. Although they live in NSW, I hope to see them again! A big thank you for your patience too Danielle as the week I had planned to finish your photos was the week my dad went into hospital for an operation! Your understanding is greatly appreciated and I hope you now enjoy your photos!

Extended Famliy Portrait – Old Petrie Town Family Photographer
It was a beautiful winters day at Old Petrie Town when we did this family portrait and they came from all over Australia (although the family from Townsville did find it cold!). The shoot was organised as the family who are all spread far and wide across the country came to celebrate Butches Birthday (Dad to some/ Granddad to others and in law to the rest) It was great afternoon and I hope all the family enjoyed their time together!
