2 Week Old Newborn

When Jodie (Mum) contacted me regarding this newborn session, I knew right away that I had to make an amazing video for them!

This beautiful little girl is the second child in this family, but tragically her older brother was stillborn, before her time of course and I can’t imagine the heartache they felt. I had an eptopic pregnancy and didn’t even know I was pregnant until it was too late, but I can’t image having carried around someone for so many months, only to loose them at the end and not bring them home. It is amazing once it happens to you, how many people them come out of the wood work who have also lost a baby, a stillborn, a miscarriage or even an eptopic. It seems almost taboo to talk about it and not share our stories.

I asked Mum if it was ok to share their story and she was happy for me to, so that others know they are not alone and that it is ok to share and talk about loosing a child at any stage or any age.

The beautiful part of this portrait session, was when her brother was included too. You see they have a special bear to commemorate him, so that he will still be part of this family and be remembered.

I just love this newborn film that we made for them and the beautiful photos too. So many memories for them to keep. I hope you enjoy watching too.
