Cooper Newborn Portrait

We met Anna and Callan at the Hello Baby Fair in November while baby Cooper was still in his mum’s tummy. The Hartley’s were blessed with the arrival of Cooper just before Christmas.

Cooper was such a precious angel, an absolute delight! We used cool green and blue colours for the session and had a couple of cute outfit changes, including a beautiful wrap that Anna brought along from home.

The beautiful wrap was unmistakably and classically Australian with eucalyptus leaves and kookaburras on it. I really do love it when families bring some of their own props or outfits. It really adds a personal touch and helps to make the session unique for them and their family.

As you’ll know by now, I do love the sleeping newborn portraits but also love it when they open their eyes and little Cooper did so right at the end… just for me. You can tell by looking in his eyes that he will hold the world in his pocket. Such a wise soul!
