Beautiful Newborn Girl

Beautiful newborn girl – Brisbane newborn photographer

We met Jackie at the pregnancy baby child expo and they booked in for our expo special while she was till pregnant.

When their beautiful baby girl came along there were a few complications and she spent some time in special care nursery, so we delayed their session.  This is totally fine by the way, best laid plans and all. Although we recommend your newborn session around 2 weeks after bub has been born, sometimes this is not always possible and we need to delay the session. This still means that we get beautiful photos of bub but it may mean that they spend more time awake at the session than curled up and sleeping (as they do this more in the first 2 weeks – it is amazing how much more awake time they have).

When we did get the whole family in for their newborn portraits, bub was still on oxygen, although not all the time, so they had the air on in the car coming over and then had a rest while we did some portraits and then could put the oxygen back on again as needed.

She was an absolute darling (as you can see from the photos) beautiful wide open eyes at times, looking around, very inquisitive and a little bit of a cheeky grin too.

I loved the variety of photos we did for this session. Mud and dad had brought a lovely little outfit for her to wear and we also used an awesome array of backdrops, from the heart-shaped box on the wooden floor to the teal rug where she was wide awake at the end and also the brown and white mohair rug ( I love this but don’t often use those earthy colours).

BAC ‘s favourite image: the cheeky grin while she is wrapped in white on the brown and white rug. She has that real cheeky glint in her eye, I just love the personality shinning through, even at this young age.
