I first met this family when Sharni was pregnant with the twins… we did their maternity, down at Shorncliffe beach and their newborn session in the studio (back then, I was running my newborn sessions out of our front room!)

The next time we updated their portraits, Genevieve and Michael were 2 years old we went back to Shorncliffe for their family portraits again.

Then the kids came in for our Little Aviator and little ballerina sessions (they were so much fun) I especially remember Genevieve getting into the plane in her tutu, so cute!

This time we had the whole family back again to update their family portraits. It was so great to see them all of course… see how big the kids were, they just grow so much.

At 6 years old, they are just at a fun age! Full of life and a bit of cheek, there is usually lots of laughing, playing and jumping around.

They also brought back the other member of their family… the four legged friend who was also at the maternity session from the start. Pup hadn’t been well, so it was extra important that we include them in the session with the family…I totally get that.

I say it over and over, but it is so wonderful to have families come back to see us over the years. To see the family change and grow, to see the kids grow up and find out how they are all going, what they are all doing. You really feel part of something with them. I love that they have memories to share and keep together, photos to remember this time that will increase in value as well all get older.
