Firth Maternity and Newborn Portrait

When Aja first contacted BAC, she was so excited to commemorate such a special time in her life but also nervous to have her very first photo session. Aja was born with Treacher Collins Syndrome. The most important thing we pride ourselves on at BAC is making sure every single person is comfortable and relaxed in their sessions and I assured Aja that the pictures would be amazing and I was so right!

With one beautiful little one already and one on the way, she wanted to capture her pregnancy in a maternity session and then another session when baby number two came along and we were really excited to help her capture her beautiful family in pictures that that she could treasure forever.

Aja entered into our Pregnancy and Child Expo Giveaway competition and we were so happy to announce her our winner. We got down to planning her very first photography session and it was decided we would do the sessions in our North Lakes studio.

Aja was timeless in this beautiful black flowing gown that highlighted her beautiful pregnancy glow. Radiating so much love, hubby joined her for these classic and moving shots. I really love the contrast within this session from the classic regal black dress into the softer more intimate pastel blue.

In October Aja booked in to have her Newborn session with hubby, little Isabella and her precious little baby boy. It’s so special looking back on the Maternity shots and then meeting the little bundle of joy who was protected inside his Mumma for 9 months.

What a really beautiful little family. Bless with a pigeon pair, big sister loved having cuddles with her new little brother. When a new baby comes into the house it’s really important to make sure the elder siblings get lots of their own love and attention and we make sure that happens in our sessions. What a cutie!

We had so many great pictures to choose from for the blog from this session. Black and white photos are so timeless and classic and can be displayed in any colour or style frame. I love these ones.

Last but certainly not least, this little man stole my heart. Such a precious little boy!

What a journey! I was so very happy to go on this journey with Aja and her beautiful family and feel very blessed to show the world just how brave and beautiful this lady is!
