New Farm Park – Extended Family Portrait

I did this session a little while back, but thought it was about time I put it on the blog.

We organised this extended family portrait session at New Farm Park for the morning and although it is a lovely place, you do have to be careful to avoid both the sun in the morning and of course the hundreds of people who flock to this park every weekend! So we nestled in under this big old beautiful tree.

Now in hindsight, we didn’t really plan this shoot well, as it was the day after Halloween and so the kids had all been up late trick-o-treating and were full of sweeties the night before, so tired and on a sugar low that morning.

That being said, we still got some lovely shots and it is always wonderful to see a large family all get together, brothers and sisters, cousins, grandparents.
