This amazing location was introduced to me by some clients of mine who lived nearby and would walk their dogs around this vast and diverse area. I absolutely love shooting here now and have it almost top of my list for recommended locations.

Access & Parking ★★★★

This spot is tricky to get to.. only because google maps sends you the wrong way! I tell all my clients to ignore sat nav (which sends them down Inverpine Ct) and head for the end of Affleck Ave. From there you can drive down a long stretch of road that runs alongside the park and there is plenty of parking there.

Once parked up, there is a little rough ground getting down to the main path and then there are a whole load of options to you on how far we can walk here to access all the different areas, some are right alongside the car park and others are a good 5 minute walk away.

This North Brisbane Portrait location has some amenities. There are toilets on site (a recent addition), drinking fountains, BBQ’s and picnic benches, and a little playground for the kids too.

There are no shops or cafe’s near by here, so bring provisions with you.

Best time of day for your session ★★★★★

This location is great for morning and afternoon sessions which make is super versatile. There is lots of pretty green foliage to keep out of the harsh sun and there is enough coverage for large group or generation portraits (which I have done here before).

The list at this location is endless. There is just so much space to wander here and find great little spots that change with the light each time I am there.
