The Mealor Family in the Studio – North Lakes Portrait
Fun Studio Family Portrait Kids and Confetti It was so lovely to see this family again! I have photographed their wedding, newborns for the kids and numerous family portraits along the way. It is so cool to watch the kids grow and change over the years. Blanche was totally awesome too, agreeing to donate to National Family Portrait Month and support the charity beyondblue. I have selected a beautiful image of her with Alexis and Conor for the book and I am looking forward to seeing all the photos we took this year published in the book soon!

Mum and her beautiful girls – North Lakes Family Studio Portrait
BAC Photography Studio Portrait National Family Portrait Month This mum and her three beautiful girls came in for a studio session for National Family Portrait Month supporting beyondblue. I just love the matching lavender outfits that they came in! These had been used for a previous occasion and were perfect for the session. Then to have them change into something a little more casual and have fun throwing confetti around – SO MUCH FUN! Skye and I selected a favourite image for the album and then we designed a beautiful handmade photo album for them from a company based right here in Brisbane (I love supporting local). Needless to say,…

Bulter Family – North Lakes Family Portrait Photographer
National Family Portrait Month North Lakes Family Photographer It was a stunning afternoon at Lake Eden in North Lakes for Jody and her lovely family. Like most of us, the kids are growing up way to quick and time passes by at the drop of a hat. You blink the kids are as tall as you, if not taller! I had a lovely afternoon with this family. The kids were fun and co-operative, although the older two are hardly kids anymore. They just grow so fast. Jody got in touch with us to participate in National Family Portrait Month and has a lovely image of her and the kids for me…

Three Generations – North Lakes Studio Photographer
Three Generations of Ladies National Family Portrait Month These lovely ladies were a delight to photograph and so special having 3 generations. Mum Tayne (in the middle) registered for National Family Portrait Month and wanted to bring along her beautiful daughters Jasmine and Chelsea but also asked if her Mum Eleanor and her Mother in Law Jan could also come too. The more the merrier I said and here they are! Having registered for National Family Portrait Month, one of their images will go through for the book, ‘Mother’s and their Children, an unbreakable bond’. My favourite for this is the last image in this blog, on the couch. Thank…

Violet plus the family – North Lakes Newborn Photographer
5 Week Old Baby Violet This gorgeous little girl was so precious. At 5 weeks old she just had the most amazing hair! Dark and thick and beautiful. Mum brought bub in for her session in the studio just on her own and at 5 weeks, babies are already starting to sleep a little less in the day or disturb more once they are asleep, but we did manage some photos with those lovely eyes open and a few sleepy ones too! After we also had the whole family join in at the park with her big sisters who just adore her. It is very sweet. The family ordered one…

You can see some more our Twins images on Twins Feature Gallery We had a fun session and the girls were so mature and cooperative, we got do take so many different images and groupings with them all, finishing with my favourite… the confetti! Three sessions in one – North Lakes Studio Portrait
National Family Portrait Month Family Portraits for a great cause Jackie contacted me a little while ago as she wanted to sign up to National Family Portrait Month. She had seen it advertised on my newsletter and wanted to be a part of this great charity fundraiser for beyondblue. She also saw our awesome, fun Little Aviator Sessions and wanted to get Max dressed up too! Perfect I said and we can have Annabel dress up for the little Ballerina’s and everyone get’s a turn. National Family Portrait Month at BAC Photography Supporting Beyondblue This fun pair came in to help us support National Family Portrait Month. As with everyone who has participated in this awesome venture to raise money for beyondblue this year, they will have an image from their session featured in the book to be produced… Mothers and their children, an unbreakable bond. I have a few favourites from the session which I will put forward to the graphic designer and let them choose the final image. I can’t wait for the book to come out! Amy was so in love with her photos, that she brought me some chocolates to say…

Bowers Family Portrait – North Lakes Studio
Family Fun in the studio with the Bowers Family Mummy’s Wish Support for families This lovely family came to me through an amazing organisation called Mummy’s Wish! This charity gives support to Mum’s with young children going through cancer. I have supported this charity for years now with my photography services and met some beautiful families along the way. This is another one here. Mum Gail, was worried that the boys might be a hard to get photos of and sit still for the session. I told her not to worry. Not only do I have 2 energetic boys myself, but I have photographed hundreds of kids (not just boys)…

Fuller Family Fun – North Lakes Family Photographer
These 3 crazy kids were so much fun… and so were Mum and Dad too! So much energy, I was tired at the end, but it was all worth it. Mum had said she was worried how the kids would go during the session and was worried we wouldn’t get a whole family photo, never mind a shot of the 3 kids together. This was not a problem on the day. Nothing to worry about. They listened and responded and also went a bit crazy too, but as Mum said when she saw the photos.. that’s them and who they are. I was so excited to finally deliver their beautiful…
