Extended Family Portrait – Deception Bay Photographer
I love doing extended family portraits and sharing in the relationships between all the family, from the grandparents to the grandkids and the aunts and uncles. Danielle and the family in the country but booked me in while they were here on holidays with her parents. Although they live in NSW, I hope to see them again! A big thank you for your patience too Danielle as the week I had planned to finish your photos was the week my dad went into hospital for an operation! Your understanding is greatly appreciated and I hope you now enjoy your photos!

Susan and Paul’s North Lakes Wedding – Brisbane Wedding Photographer
This was a beautiful day, an emotional ceremony and a great celebration! It was a gorgeous sunset over the North Lakes Resort Golf Club. The bride looked stunning, the groom handsome and their family and friends all happy to share the day with them, as was I. I loved the purple that the bridesmaids wore (just happens to be my favourite colour too) and although it was winter, it was such a warm afternoon and perfect for their bridal portraits out on the Gold Course. The cake topper was Star Wars themed and not the first (or last I’m sure) to have this either. Congratulations Susan and Paul on a…

Extended Famliy Portrait – Old Petrie Town Family Photographer
It was a beautiful winters day at Old Petrie Town when we did this family portrait and they came from all over Australia (although the family from Townsville did find it cold!). The shoot was organised as the family who are all spread far and wide across the country came to celebrate Butches Birthday (Dad to some/ Granddad to others and in law to the rest) It was great afternoon and I hope all the family enjoyed their time together!

Sweet Archer – North Lakes Newborn Photographer
This little man came to me at 27 days old and what a darling he was! I have said it before too, sleeping baby photos are gorgeous, but just look at those baby blues! I just love open eye baby shots just as much. So much love and emotion is in the eyes and I love to capture that. Now although the best time for newborn photos is in the first two weeks, that doesn’t mean that we can’t get some lovely newborn photos whether bub is asleep or not and this boy was no exception. We were lucky to get him asleep – albeit not for long, but long…

Homeward Bound – Brisbane Botanical Gardens Photographer
Very sadly, I may never see this sweet little family again, but it was a pleasure to have met and photographed them. They are from America and had been living in Brisbane for 18 months and the day following our session, they were returning home. They called me to get some family photos in the Botanical Gardens to remind them of the time they had here. I hope this will give them some long lasting memories of a city that we both love!

Suttons Beach Hoorah – Redcliffe Family Photographer
So one day I had a call from this guy who was looking for a present for his mum’s birthday from him and his brother. How awesome for two young men to think of such a present. When we booked in the date for the session, Sue (the Mum) told me that the last proper family portrait they had done was when the boys were very young and as beautiful as it still is, it was of course a little out of date now that the boys had all grown up. Rather than the studio session that they had once had done, we decided on a session down at the…

Family Fun Portrait – Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens Photographer
I have been to the Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens plenty of times with my family, but never for a family portrait, so I was really excited when I booked in with this beautiful family for a session there. We didn’t stay in one place, but spent our time roaming around the gardens stopping on the way to play and see all the awesome things they have there. I had such a great time, I just can’t wait to book in another photography session (or fusion photography session there soon)!

Pink Tutu and Bubbles – North Lakes Family Portrait Photographer
Another beautiful session down at North Lakes to blog. Miss S was very sweet (I love that dress!). She did get a little possessive of the bubbles though… and I totally understand. I love bubbles to! A pleasure to meet and photograph this family. The weather was on and off leading up to the session and at one stage I wasn’t even sure it would go ahead. Then it cleared, we had a great session and as I was taking the last photo, spots of rain began to fall – how freaky is that!

Audrey’s Christening – Brisbane Event Photographer
I am so excited to have finished the photos for Audrey’s Christening! Not the first time this beautiful little girl and I have met and I am so honored to have been there for this special occasion! The church at St Mary’s Kangaroo Point was just beautiful (inside and out) and I felt for Dad who arrived early in the morning to secure a table in the park adjacent for the after ceremony celebrations. It was a very windy day, but we were thankful that the sun was shinning… even if it was a brisk! Congratulations on a beautiful day.

Cake Smash – North Lakes Childrens Photographer
Had a ball in the studio here in North Lakes last week when little Miss A had her 1st Birthday Cake Smash! At first she wasn’t sure. Was it ok to touch? Then when her fingers got dirty, she decided to just go in face first! So cute. Happy Birthday Darling!
