We love the beach – Bribie Island Family Photographer
This super session, with super family, was a while ago… and I totally forgot to add them to the blog! The session was such fun and when I realised, I had to add this straight away. I really just had to share. Bribie is such a beautiful spot and perfect for portraits. Actually I just love Bribie in general. When you drive over that bridge, you can just relax… although I am always sad going back the other way home. It was awesome to get the sun going down and watch the kids playing in the sand. These two reminded me of my own too. Full of energy and non-stop…

Clint and Kim-Lee Wedding Film – Redcliffe Wedding Videographer
I am so thrilled to finish this video for Clint and Kim-Lee. They found me through the Brisbane Multiple Birth Association Northside, and we obviously both have twins being members of the club. Our day started with them at the Redview and Mom Komo while they were all getting ready and moved down Suttons Beach and the newly re branded Piplel by the Sea. For the bridal portraits we went to the beautiful Redcliffe Botanic Gardens and then raced down for the Sunset over the sea at Woody Point before heading back to the reception at Pilpel. When they came into the studio to meet me for the first time,…

3 Month Old Twins Family Portrait – North Lakes Studio Photographer
Some sessions you book in and things happen… these gorgeous girls got sick! Very sick and we had to postpone what was a shoot at 10 weeks, turned into almost 3 months old, but very thankfully they are all ok now and I had a ball photographing them in the studio in North Lakes. Being involved with the Multiple Birth Association, I see a lot of twins and I love the connection. When they came in for their viewing, the girls had discovered, well, each other and were all smiles every time they saw each other. It is such a special bond and so lovely to have seen in in…

Newborn Twins Family Film – Brisbane Maternity and Newborn Videographer
I had the pleasure of meeting this couple before the imminent arrival of their twins with a pre-session meeting and then the maternity shoot too. Now you know how much I LOVE twins! Having had my two boys, I just get so excited when I know I have twins coming into the studio. Yes, they are double the work (sometimes) but totally double the reward. Sharni and Chris are doing great, and their bubs are just awesome and loved every minute photographing them! For their session we did a movie too and I hope mum and dad can enjoy it and their photos for years to come. Our Beautiful Twins…

Quintin and Laveina – Scarborough Wedding Photographer
This beautiful couple were so in love and so easy to photograph! Years ago, when BAC Photography was in it’s infancy, I some Naming ceremony photos for a friend of Laveina. Years later when she was having trouble finding the right photographer, her friend recommended me and the rest is history. The day it’s self was beautiful and I don’t just mean the weather. These 2 are just perfect for each other and although I know Laveina was upset that her Mum couldn’t make it over from NZ from the ceremony, they both few off soon after to show her the video a friend had taken of the day. I…

Brisbane Photographer – Family Lifestyle Film
I hate cancer. It started when I was young. My mum had cancer and died way to soon…. It’s because of this that I volunteer for an organisation called Mummy’s Wish. This amazing charity helps mum’s with young families that are going through cancer. A couple of times a year, I do a shoot with a family that is going through this trauma and this is how I met Dani. She has an aggressive breast cancer and in the last few days has undergone an double mastectomy. Before the op however, I had the chance one afternoon to meet her and her beautiful girls and capturing them spending some time…

New Farm Park – Extended Family Portrait
I did this session a little while back, but thought it was about time I put it on the blog. We organised this extended family portrait session at New Farm Park for the morning and although it is a lovely place, you do have to be careful to avoid both the sun in the morning and of course the hundreds of people who flock to this park every weekend! So we nestled in under this big old beautiful tree. Now in hindsight, we didn’t really plan this shoot well, as it was the day after Halloween and so the kids had all been up late trick-o-treating and were full of…

Extended Family Portrait Photographer- Brisbane City Botanic Gardens
I just love doing extened family portraits! Although it took us a while to find a date that all the family were free on and then, that I was free on, we got there in the end! It was a beautiful afternoon in the City Botanic Gardens and the perfect spot for these photos. The family all looked fab! No one matching but with beautiful pops of colour from the girls and in a big group this is easier said than done, but they all looked great. Of course Mum and Dad (or Grandma and Grandpa) were the centre focus and not only did we get some lovely shots with all the…

Holly and Jacob – Old Petrie Town Wedding Videography
I have photographed many times at Old Petrie Town, but never a wedding! To top that off, I wasn’t photographing this one, we were doing video. It was such a beautiful day and such a beautiful spot, but nothing as beautiful as the couple in love! Holly and Jacob’s Wedding from BAC Photography on Vimeo. A special thanks to their celebrant, Shelley Schelling from Live.Love.Celebrate. for putting us in touch with Holly and Jacob.
