Brisbane Photographer – Family Lifestyle Film
I hate cancer. It started when I was young. My mum had cancer and died way to soon…. It’s because of this that I volunteer for an organisation called Mummy’s Wish. This amazing charity helps mum’s with young families that are going through cancer. A couple of times a year, I do a shoot with a family that is going through this trauma and this is how I met Dani. She has an aggressive breast cancer and in the last few days has undergone an double mastectomy. Before the op however, I had the chance one afternoon to meet her and her beautiful girls and capturing them spending some time…

New Farm Park – Extended Family Portrait
I did this session a little while back, but thought it was about time I put it on the blog. We organised this extended family portrait session at New Farm Park for the morning and although it is a lovely place, you do have to be careful to avoid both the sun in the morning and of course the hundreds of people who flock to this park every weekend! So we nestled in under this big old beautiful tree. Now in hindsight, we didn’t really plan this shoot well, as it was the day after Halloween and so the kids had all been up late trick-o-treating and were full of…

Extended Family Portrait Photographer- Brisbane City Botanic Gardens
I just love doing extened family portraits! Although it took us a while to find a date that all the family were free on and then, that I was free on, we got there in the end! It was a beautiful afternoon in the City Botanic Gardens and the perfect spot for these photos. The family all looked fab! No one matching but with beautiful pops of colour from the girls and in a big group this is easier said than done, but they all looked great. Of course Mum and Dad (or Grandma and Grandpa) were the centre focus and not only did we get some lovely shots with all the…

Holly and Jacob – Old Petrie Town Wedding Videography
I have photographed many times at Old Petrie Town, but never a wedding! To top that off, I wasn’t photographing this one, we were doing video. It was such a beautiful day and such a beautiful spot, but nothing as beautiful as the couple in love! Holly and Jacob’s Wedding from BAC Photography on Vimeo. A special thanks to their celebrant, Shelley Schelling from Live.Love.Celebrate. for putting us in touch with Holly and Jacob.

Stunning Golf Club Wedding – North Lakes Wedding Photographer
It is so nice to go back to a familiar place and North Lakes Golf Club is no exception. I have photographed a few weddings there now and it love going back! Not only are the staff and grounds there for weddings wonderful, selfishly it’s only a short drive home for me… in fact sometimes I think it would be quicker to walk if I didn’t have all my gear! It was a stunning day for Michelle and Rob. One of those typical Queensland winter days where the sun shines warm… but not too hot. We went out on the carts after the ceremony with the Bridal party for some…

Eves on the River – Brisbane Wedding Video Fusion
Well we have been working hard all week to finish this video for Errin and Elvis! A definite labour of love, it has been a joy to share their day with them, create images that they will one day share with their own children and video the whole day from start to finish for them to enjoy with their family and friends. Wishing you all the best… and please enjoy xx Errin and Elvis – Wedding Video from BAC Photography on Vimeo. BAC Photography wedding video fusion. Eves on the River – Brisbane Wedding Photographer
It was a while ago now when I first met up to discuss this beautiful wedding with Errin and Elvis. We talked through the plans for the day and I was also looking forward to the venue, as this was my first time shooting a wedding at Eves on the River. Errin and Elvis has planned their wedding in winter for a few reasons, one of which being that the QLD winter is so dry that there was a good chance it wouldn’t rain…. well it did rain! The venue and organisers did pull together to prepare the outdoor venue in-between showers, co-ordinated by the lovely wedding planner, Tanya from…

Video Fusion – Redcliffe Family Portrait
Another beautiful family who I have watched grow! Shaanvi and Shivaan (I LOVE those names) have been super to follow through the first years of their life. We topped off Shivaan’s 1st birthday celebration by doing a video fusion, combining video with their photo session. The sun was shinning at the Redcliffe Botanic Gardens which is just stunning in that late afternoon light. All the best to my friends and their beautiful family xx Enjoy! Brisbane Family Portrait – Studio and Outdoor
I have said it before and I’ll say it again, I love it when clients come back! It’s the biggest compliment to me and my work. I met this lovely family when they had their second child and they wanted some studio shots and then a nice family shot outdoors. That’s fine I said. Sadly last time it rained, so we did their family portrait in the studio. This time however it was a beautiful afternoon and once we had done a some photos of the kids in my North Lakes Studio, we then went down to the park at the end of my street and got some beautiful family…

Wedding Video Fusion – Wedding Photography and Videography
I am so excited to have finished my first wedding fusion! What’s fusion, this is where we combine photography and videography together to make awesome movies for you! Now, my brother had a very low key wedding in Armidale NSW and didn’t want any fuss, so we actually had to film in secret… ssshh! This means that we didn’t use any of our professional audio equipment or he’d be onto us, so had to just use what the camera recorded. I think the video still works and more importantly they love it! It was so wonderful to be apart of their day with all family and friends. Enjoy xx Nathan and Lauren…
