This is the fifth post in a series designed to give you the low-down on a few of my favourite locations to shoot, from the sand to the studio and in between. Previously, I posted about Lake Eden (you can find the link to that blog post here), North Lakes Woodlands (you can find the link to that blog post here), Brisbane City Botanic Gardens (you can find the link to that one here!), and Crest Park at Bribie Island (that link is here), and today I’ve got another beachy location to share.
This bustling beach haven is a great location to shoot, offering a few different options together with the standard ‘sand’ shots. Parking is available as well as disabled access, and there are toilets located nearby. Whilst there isn’t a wet weather option here, it’s still a great choice for your session.
If you’re bringing the kids, they’ll love the playground here, and there’s plenty of space for them to move about. Whilst the pier is still being rebuilt and thus unavailable for use, there is still a rock wall should you wish to venture out for photos, and enough greenery for nature shots too. If you’re thinking of a morning session, this location won’t suit, but do check out some of my other posts for morning-friendly options. On the plus side, the afternoon light here is superb, and makes for really gorgeous photos.
If Shorncliffe sounds like the spot for your next session, you can contact BAC Photography via email at email@example.com We look forward to hearing from you!
