Helping you choose the perfect spot for the perfect shot!
This series of blog posts is designed to give you the low-down on a few of my favourite locations to shoot, from the sand to the studio and in between. Over the next few posts you’ll read about some local hideaways as well as more popular locations, with tips regarding the best time of day and what kinds of photographs you can expect from your shoot. Perhaps you have your own location in mind as well – that will be covered too! So sit back, grab a coffee and read on to discover where’s best for your next session with BAC Photography.
Location: Lake Eden, North Lakes.
The first location on my list is the local (to me!) and lively, Lake Eden. If you’re looking for a versatile spot to fit in a wide variety
of shots, this is it. With ample parking around the lake and wide, sprawling paved pathways suitable for disabled access, Lake Eden offers a lot! Bring the whole family, or just your beloved, and make sure to pack your smile.
The light here is great in the late afternoon, whether on the bridge or along the path with the beautiful lake in the background. There is plenty of greenery to frame your photos also, so it’s a really versatile little spot. If you’re bringing the kids along, there is play equipment on offer! And if your little people are morning people, Lake Eden is just as nice in the A.M., offering the same great variety of photography options.
If you choose to shoot your session at Lake Eden, you will need to be aware that there are no refuge options from inclement weather, nor are there any toilet facilities. The walkways are often frequented by the locals on their daily walks, but don’t let that put you off; this really is one of my favourite places to shoot, and if you have a look at the photographs below you’ll understand why.
If Lake Eden sounds like the spot for your next session, you can contact BAC Photography via email at firstname.lastname@example.org We look forward to hearing from you!
